Paines Prairie Part 2 & Others at O'Leno

Of course most of my posts are Jamie laden, and have the folks we stayed with at Paines Prairie. These were all on Sunday and apparently I woke up and took some shots of others.

I am not going to list everyones names here as I don't know everyone's name. I mentioned more than once that name tags would be nice for us newbies. But that's ok.

I tried to post some shots that gave an idea of what a Sunday at O'Leno was like. First some partook in Yoga and came back to the cabin relaxed. Then others went to the Sunday service riverside. Jamie did her first service for the church and handed out song sheets. Then she wandered off, she isn't used to services because of RE. (Mason took the girls on a nature walk at this time - Thanks Mason!

After service a FABULOUS brunch of Marinated asparagus and carrot medallions with bean bruche...Then a time in the playground with a session on the swings, a stop in the interuptive center to read about FDR's fabulous CCC and their work at transforming O'Leno from an abandoned mill town to a wonderful state park.

Then a quick peek into some of the cabins with more ameneties followed by the trip home qith a sleepy girl. Only memories remain.

  1. These photos just do not do justice to the fun and spirit of adventure we all felt that weekend. I can't wait until next year!
